On the last day of consultation I managed to refine my concept into a promising locking system that might actually work. I still keep the side flanges of the chair to keep the characteristic of the design.
After figuring out the concept I realize that there are still enough material to add a higher backrest and also making the design more solid.CONCEPT REFINE 2
Last but not least, I finally satisfied with the design. It was quite challenging to build a chair that has multiple angular. 
Especially on the major part as in the seat & side 
flanges.
