Branding
For the branding of the design I decided to use a painting from a famous japanese artist "Hokusai"called "The great wave of kanagawa". This painting resembles the characteristic of japanese art during the Edo period. I think by using this a series of japanese paintings on my chair would promote japanese culture during the event as well as offering a better understanding of traditional japanese art.

Success'
I wanted it to have a clean folded sides, and not showing much of the xanita corrugated parts.
The outer folds initial locking system from the concept 2 mock up doesn't seem to actually work, so i have to change the outer folds to interlock underneath the seat.
It worked, I'm glad I manage to execute the design in time and maintain it's aesthetic appearance from the original concept. Perhaps even better.
Hmmm.... I'm not sure if everyone can fit to sit on it, I hope Shin would as I'm designing for 100% Tokyo ;)
